St. Patrick's Day Parade Association Golf Outing!
Each summer, we have a golf outing to help raise funds to pay for our parade!  The 2003 golf outing was in August at Green Hills.  Don O'Hara is the chairperson.  There are lots of prizes, TV holes, and closest to the pin holes.  The golf match concludes with a great buffet meal and lots of golf prizes.  Please contact (989) 893-0832 for additional information.

The St. Pat Parade golf outing is at Green Hills in Linwood on M-13.  Your day of fun includes 18 holes of golf, a great buffet lunch, lots of prizes, a closest to the pin hole, and a TV hole.  Cost is $60 per person or $240 per 4 person team.  Contact  (989) 893-0832 to make your reservation.  Don't be the last team to sign up!

March 6, 2004 St. Patrick's Day Queen Pageant 14 contestants will be competing for the 2004 St. Patrick's Day Queen and Court. Evening with the Irish March 18, 2004 at Created for Caring Doors open 5:30 p.m.

This celebration is sponsored by the Ancient Order of Hibernians and honors the joy of our Irish Heritage with limericks, music, dancing, and lots of fun! Frank Quinn coordinates the limerick contest. There will be three bands and two dancing groups to enjoy. Tickets: $5 (ages 5 and under free) Tickets are available at the door, at the Heart of Ireland store, and at Bells Cycling and Fitness. Contact 893-9194 for additional information.

Church Service March 20, 2003 St. Hyacinths 4:30 p.m.

Please join our Parade Marshal, Mr. John Davidson, and our 2004 Queens court in a worship service honoring St. Patrick. Worshipping together is an extraordinary part of our celebration weekend. Please join us in this special service. The church is located on the corner of Cass and Michigan Avenue in Bay City.

Saturday, March 20, 2004 is the annual "George Walsh Irish Ball." There will be dinner, music and dancing. Come and hear the Strathroy Bagpipers from Canada play and enjoy a great, relaxing evening with friends. Tickets are only $20.00 per person and can be purchased by calling (989) 892-0835. Only 300 tickets are available. Hurry, they wont last long! Cocktails are at 6 pm. Dinner is at 6:45 p.m. Dancing is from 8:30 p.m. to 12 Midnight. We have a DJ for dancing and "Paddy Don't Drink" Irish band for jigging. Come and join us at the Village Hall.

Sunday, March 21, 2004 the "Flag Raising Ceremony" will take place at the Bay County Building at 9:00 am. Parade line-up begins at 12:00 p.m. at the corner of Center and Park Avenues and the parade begins at 2:00 p.m.

Our annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is an opportunity for family and friends to get together and enjoy a day outdoors. It seems as if the entire city is on the street with picnic baskets, umbrellas, and their vehicles...enjoying one of the biggest street parties of the year! The parade includes bands and bagpipers, floats, marching units and much more. Come and join us! Be sure to dress warmly! Hope you, too, have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Sunday March 21, 2004 Hooligans 5:30 p.m.

Join our parade marshal, Mr. John Davidson, our 2004 Queens court, and members in celebrating a great parade at Hooligans! Food and music will be featured. Children are welcome until 10 p.m. Be sure to stop by and offer your congratulations to our Parade Marshal and the Queens court.
