Getting Involved

Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way.  Here are some options for you to choose from when you want to help us out!

Volunteer Your Time

The parade association meets as scheduled from August to May.  June and July are generally our "time off", but we do meet as needed to keep our plans and fund raisers going.  Currently, we meet on Wednesday's at the American Legion Post #18 at 7 p.m.  The Legion is located at 700 Adams street in Bay City.
We have many committees to be part of.  There are committees for helping on the Queen's pageant, the George Walsh Irish Ball, Publicity, Bands, Golf Outing, Parade Line up, Parade entries, permits, novelty sales, t-shirts, and flag raising.
Please contact the officers listed on the "About us" page for additional information about getting involved or more information about these committees.

Join us at an Upcoming Event

Check out our "recent and upcoming events" page for ways to get to know us better.  Contacts are listed for each activity.

Make a Donation

If you wish more information about making a donation, to support our parade or there is a specific event you want to sponsor financially, please contact the parade president.  Contact information is listed on the "about us" page.
Parade Member, Sue Banaszak, coordinates our novelty sales!
At events, such as the Queen Pageant, Irish Ball, and Evening with the Irish, Sue and her committee sells Irish oriented items to the public as a fund raiser.  Sue has jewelery, blankets, pins, mini-banners, and many other fine irish trinkets and that's no blarney.  Be sure to see Sue at one of these events and purchase a mememto of your day with the Irish!
